How many weekends you have left
Life is lived in weekends more than we think. This counts the ones ahead and the ones that slipped by, so you can plan the next one on purpose.
Your numbers
Common answers are filled in. Change the ones you know.
Typical: 1. Put in yours. A month has about 4 weekends.
Leave it at 0 to use the average for your age in India. It's an average for a big group, not a prediction about you.
It only changes the order on your statement.
What waiting costs you
2,494 weekends
About 2,494 weekends ahead
52 weekends went by while you waited, and about 40 of them didn't feel well spent. The count uses the average for your age in India, which is never a prediction about you.

How we worked this out
- Years: about 47.8, the average at age 30 in India. It's a group average, not a prediction.
- Weekends ahead: 47.8 years × 52.18 weekends a year = 2,494.
- Weekends while it waited: 12 months × 4.35 = 52.
- Not well spent: (4.35 minus 1 a month) × 12 months = 40.
- How much it matters to you: 7 out of 10. It only changes the order on your statement.
Fixed figures
- Average years left at 30: 47.8 years

- WHO Global Health Observatory (2020): In India, a person who reaches 60 lives about 17.8 more years on average.

How it works
We multiply the years ahead by 52.18, the number of weeks in a year.
For the years, we use the average for your age in India, or your own number. It's an average for a big group, never a prediction about you.
Then we count the weekends that went by while you waited, and how many of them didn't feel well spent, from your own answer.

- WHO Global Health Observatory (2020): A group average, never a prediction for one person. The 2021 figure dipped to about 15.6 during COVID, so we use 2020.
- UN World Population Prospects (2024): A group average from a secondary site. Between 60 and 80 we draw a straight line.

Whatever you'd be glad you did: rest, people, a hobby, a trip. You decide.
Why use an average?
Because nobody knows anyone's future. It's a rough guide for a large group, never a prediction. You can use your own number instead.
