₹100 a day
₹36,500 spent on smoking since you first meant to quit
If you'd quit 1 year ago, by now you'd cough less and get short of breath less often. By 2 years after quitting, your risk of a heart attack would have dropped a lot.

How we worked this out
- Spent while it waited: ₹100 a day × 365 days = ₹36,500.
- Over a year: ₹100 × 365 = ₹36,500.
- Changes you'd have reached by now: 20 minutes, a few days, 3 months, a year.
- Where the source gives a range of time, we use the later end, so we never promise too early.
- How much it matters to you: 7 out of 10. It only changes the order on your statement.

How it works
The timeline comes from the American Cancer Society. Where it gives a range of time, we use the later end, so we never promise a change too early.
After 10 years, your risk of lung cancer is about half that of someone who still smokes. After 15 years, your risk of heart disease is close to a non-smoker's.
The rupees come from your own daily spend.
